This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share. In the previous threads we have had a great time talking through lessons, training, horse lamenesses, illnesses and pregnancies... and always sharing pictures and stories.
I always have a link to this thread on my profile page, so if you have something to say and can't find the thread in latest posts… look for it there and wake the thread up!
I also have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will now be pinging everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list. As FreeRepublic is a political site, our politics and other issues will probably blend in…. There are many issues for horsemen that touch politics… land use, animal rights/abuse cases that make the news…. Legislation that might affect horse owners.
So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends. There are lots of ways of doing things and we all have our quirks, tricks and specialties that are neat to learn about.

Nah, not for me. I'm here at work and it's super fast, but I figured it probably was for anybody on dial-up since there were so many pictures on there.

Hair, I really like your planters. It's a little too early here, to put anything out. I have two beds weeded and getting them ready for planting. There is still a chance of frost, so it is better to wait until after Memorial Day.
Hey, Kentucky Derby is this Saturday.
Here! Slaving away on the end of month stuff. I had to drop my truck off at the garage this morning. My brakes have been squealing and when I turn to the left, it does the same thing. Drives me nuts.

We got some more rain thru the night. And it looks like we could get a "little" more thru out the day. Doing some errands with Jenny this morning, then later today if it's not raining I'll ride.
I think I'm going to stop and pick up a bag of grass seed. Not alot just some to spread out back where there is nothing, not even weeds growing. We''ve got rain in the forecast for the next week so maybe it will be enough to give it a good start.

Hair, I downloaded some pictures with york. The dates of Album are the same. New album or exsisting. When I go to York the pictures don't come up. Any ideas?

Well, as it turns out, it's a little early here too :~\ We had frost last night. I had warning, so I put an old sleeping bag over the big one, and brought the little ones inside. Hopefully the big one is OK.
But it's pretty late to get frost. Since the horses are mostly shed out, I put their blankets on. In May!
Were there supposed to be pictures on this post? All I see are 4 blank lines, your question to Hair, and about 7 more blank lines.
Have you ever tried Snapfish? That's the one I use and it works great.
