One of my current projects is to paint our Suzuki Samuria in a camo pattern instead of the white that it is. Today I finally got a chance to try some different colors and then take them out into the sage to see how they looked.

I am having a lot of fun with it. It's still too cold and miserable to get much done but at least I've determined which colors I'll use.

What am I looking at? Is it cars? Whatever it is you are concealing, you are doing a good job:')
To: CindyDawg
Right now it's just four different poster boards, about 18" by 24". I want to paint our Suzuki which is rather like a jeep. It's white now and sticks out like a neon sign when we head into the hills. I'm working on making it disappear into the sage :)

Ok,ok:') Well the first color the best. The last is good too.
To: Duchess47
I would like to see Okie from a distance in your desert. His white would probably show thru but I bet he would blend in good.

Paints and Apps - the ultimate camouflage horses :) No wonder the indians rode them.

I like the first camo pattern and color.

Bays are great camo horses during the fall. :-) Trust me, I once lost one in the woods.
To: Beaker
That must have been something, searching the woods for a horse. :)

The first one is the one I'll use I think. It's the one on the far left and it really belended well.

It certainly gives you a heart attack. Fortunately he found the neighbors new crop of green grass in their back yard to be far more attractive than playing hide and seek. It made him easier to catch. But he left his calling card in the form of great big hoof shaped patches of missing grass when he tried to peel out and run away again.
To: Beaker
Oh boy, I'll bet the neighbors loved him :) I guess the only good thing about having so many horses is that even if they do get loose, they don't go far, they don't want to leave their buddies.
