The FreeRepublic Saddle Club - Who's Who *pics*

This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share. In the previous threads we have had a great time talking through lessons, training, horse lamenesses, illnesses and pregnancies... and always sharing pictures and stories.

I always have a link to this thread on my profile page, so if you have something to say and can't find the thread in latest posts… look for it there and wake the thread up!

I also have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will now be pinging everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list. As FreeRepublic is a political site, our politics and other issues will probably blend in…. There are many issues for horsemen that touch politics… land use, animal rights/abuse cases that make the news…. Legislation that might affect horse owners.

So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends. There are lots of ways of doing things and we all have our quirks, tricks and specialties that are neat to learn about.

Does he like Sponge Bob (what kid doesn't)? I bought my granddaughter a Sponge Bob PC game. She has quite a few Barbie and horse games. I don't download anything from the internet. Although sites, like Disney are good. Best Buy has a lot of kids games to purchase. Good learning ones also.

Morning... yesterday we got Rosie's supplies for her fence and got her gate up for her compound (pics) We're planning on trying to make more progress today, but at the moment it's raining.

There's perscription strength ibuprophen that you can take. I can't do the codine stuff either because it kills me, and there are other pain meds that you can request. It doesn't have to be tylenol with codine.

I love Civilization IV. I've been addicted to it for a couple of weeks, having just discovered it.

Good morning,

I'll pass the link on to them. Free would be good :) although they are pretty high in points or standing or whatever, that I don't know that they would quit the one.

Many many :) years ago, when PC's were just getting popular I played Space Quest, along with several friends. We'd be up 'til 3am, calling each other - "how did you get through ___? etc. I'd be almost afraid to get started again, I get so compulsive about it.

Sun shining today - no wind, so I'm going to try out my camo patterns with three or four different paint mixes to see which works best here. Have a great day.

I'm learning the hard way that they don't wind down. They just go till they pass out.

Morning, paying bills is one of the things I have to do today. Also, get hubby's paperwork together for a meeting with VA tomorrow. There just aren't enough hours in the day on the weekends :)

You would love being able to go out and cut some for cooking. It is really nice to have fresh herbs. My weather here won't allow having much at all and indoors, my cats won't allow it.

What's the saying? Something to the effect that kids don't rest, they recharge.

Yeah - she's really ampin' to get a dog, and she'll feel a lot better when she's got some security of a fence around her.

There's a male blue doberman, neutered, that needs a home - he's in the vet clinic right now with a broken leg. He's a sweetheart :), but pretty far away from you guys.

FReeper Slump Tester just FRMailed me this link to a small premi-mini that appears to be surviving just fine.
No talk of putting her back with her mother... not sure what happened there.

I bought a sponge bob that you plug in to the TV. It's more building hamburgers and dress up though. I also bought him a spider man which he plays. He likes getting on the computer though.

The parents decided to pass on the skating today. (yea lol) I'm fixing to go check on my critters. I have bills to pay too but that can wait til dark. I divide my chores by the amount of sunshine needed:') I agree, not enough hours. I am really seriously thinking about taking a risk and resigning this June. If my business doesn't take off with a boom, I work enugh prn jobs that I ought to be able to bring in enough if I need to. I just want one day off a week where I don't have to do anything.
