Reptiles too :~D
Even more of a menagerie than I thought!
Just finished watching Perfect Disaster - Solar Storm. I'm really glad I live in the country.
Oh yeah? What happens in the city? Electrical problems?
Is that the one where it freezes?
No this is a Discovery program where solar flares take out the transformers for the power grid world wide. No electricty. At least in the country I don't have to deal with no elevators, traffic lights, fires, etc. etc. And I've got kerosene lamps. Just have to figure out what to do with freezers full of food.
:) the one where it freezes is the Day After Tomorrow I think. I watched that - now everytime it snows I figure we're getting set for another ice age. Well - I really don't like winter so it feels like it.
Funny. Traffic is horrible around here but the few instance when the lights don't work people shape up, get courteous and treat them like 4 ways. I have a lamp in most rooms with flashlites. I have two gas generators also. Power outages are an expected way of life around here. You know, in a disater you are supposed to cook the meat in the freezer and have a Texas block BBQ after the storm passes:').
I liked that show. The smart guys here say it wasn't realistic but I liked the special effects.
With two freezers full of pork, elk, buffalo and deer, you all head this way then when the power goes out. It'll be a heck of a BBQ.
It's hard to believe I'm already talking to you again about hurricanes. The horses aren't due for vaccinations until July but I'm going to go ahead and get them popped and get their coggins and health certificates ready in case we need to move fast.
I would if I were you. You never know when you'll need to have it done. Don't forget West Nile either. We picked Apr 1st years ago and that's when everyone gets theirs. If West Nile gets bad again, we'll give another booster this summer.
Time to say good night :) Work tomorrow - but only 16 more months.
472 days at MN :')
a bike
oh. Duh lol
How is he doing?
Good Morning! Cute graphic!
Thanks. You would never know it's spring thou, temps in the high 20's this morning. The snow storm that is coming from the West, just might dump on us about Wednesday.
