Hola gang,
Am at my hotel in busy Buenos Aires...what a neat city; lots to do and lots to eat!! Great restaurants. Went to a Tango show last night that was fantastic! We paid extra for the VIP treatment and it was worth every peso. We were darn near on the stage. The place we went to is supposed to be Robert Duvall's favorite.
Tomorrow we're off to a working cattle ranch for horsey fun and more stuffing of faces. Then Friday off to Iguazu Falls for a few days.
Cheers all

Thought I'd post a few pics of the President's trip to Afghanistan, India and Pakistan. Clearly, the MSM will devote precious little time, if any, to all aspects of the President's trip. After all, they must have lots of time to discuss the latest poll numbers and coverage of the islamo-protesters in India.

That picture would not have been possible 5 years ago when the Taliban freaks were in power in Afganhanistan

FOFLOL. :) Not at all, they make hundreds of them every day. In fact, Cafe du Monde was one of the first businesses to be back up and running within a few days of the storm and they've been packed as usual.

"... When I lived in Colorado, we used to have Carnivale in our town. ...."You probably know this but Mardi Gras week is always one of the biggest ski weeks in Colorado. Its right up there with Christmas/New Years and Presidents week. Planes loads of Louisianians hit the slopes that week and several of the resorts stage annual parades.

Pumping iron, with Condoleezza Rice
Feb 28 1:11 PM US/Eastern
US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will flex more than her diplomatic muscles when she demonstrates her personal workout regime on network television this week.
In an unusual departure for such a high-profile official, Rice not only pumps some iron, but also discusses how she manages to stay fit during her continual globetrotting and reveals strategies for coping with high-calorie banquets.
"She is tough, I have to tell you," said Barbara Harrison, a news co-anchor with the NBC4 channel in Washington who persuaded Rice, 51, to put on her gym sweats and participate in a regular segment on health and fitness.
"She is amazing. The amount of weights she handles and the endurance she has ... As a person who has exercised all my life, I was very impressed," said Harrison, who joined in the workout at the State Department gym with Rice and her personal trainer.
"She looks good throughout the whole workout," Harrison added.
Americans wanting to catch a glimpse of their chief diplomat breaking a sweat will have to get up early.
The relevant news segments -- each lasting a few minutes -- will be broadcast over three days, with each one starting at 5:45 am (1045 GMT).
According to Harrison, Rice talks about managing her fitness regime when travelling and how, during official banquets, she manages to stay within her calorie range "and not insult anybody by not eating something that they've gone to great lengths to prepare."
Harrison said she hoped the segments would inspire others with hectic work lives to keep in shape.
"We see her as one of the busiest people in the world," she said. "The fact that she can squeeze in a workout in the middle of her incredible schedule, suggests the rest of us should be able to do the same thing."

Nightwish - White Night Fantasy
Enchantress came to me
And said, meet me at the lake tonight
I hunt this song to the white
Through the shroud of snow I saw paradise
Peace, no more lies
Crestfallen soul
Rest for this night
Love is here
Right here under my wings
I dream of wolves
With them I run
For me she lengthened the night
I am home
I am in peace
Crestfallen soul
Rest for this night
Love is here
Right here under my wings
