Congratulations. Glad things are going well. As for me, I'm counting the days....and the possums, till I get out of here!
Got out of bed to get something and opened one of the kitchen drawers. You guessed it. There was a possum in it. I decided to try and catch it. It scooted to the back of the drawer so I went to open another one, and there was another possum! Third drawer, possum! I know there were three, because I could see them all at the same time. Caught one of them and took him for a nice little ride. When I got back, one of the others was still sitting in the drawer staring at me! That makes 5 I've relocated. Now I know there are at least two left. This is starting to freak me out! I guess tomorrow I am going to have to go get a trap.
This is worse than Catpuppy's bear. At least with one bear, you don't have to worry about him turning up in your sock drawer.
I remember Dawn's senior prom. She was upset with me for giving her a curfew that night. If I hadn't heard from her by the next day, I'm afraid I woudn't be so calm. I still kid her about going to the prom with Alfafa.

I guess this means you won't be helping me move. 
I'm tired and have a lot of driving to do tomorrow, but now I'm afraid to go back to bed for fear of where the next possum will turn up. Guess I'd better try though.

I caught two more this morning....in my hairstyling drawer in the bathroom! I suppose now they were wanting to fix themselves up for the webcam. They were sleeping in a bag of cotton balls!! Easiest ones to catch yet though. I just snatched the bag and tossed it in a deep box. They are now sitting here awaiting relocation...to the next county!
I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got in them I'll never know...
Still haven't heard from her. (She's with the eeeeeeeevil slime mom, if anything had gone wrong, I'd've heard about it).

Had really weird ones. Ongoing series about aliens invading earth through video games. Very odd. Ended up destroying all their hidden spy artifacts which trapped a very troubled and heavily pierced and inked girl I knew on the alien world. Ended up rescuing her with an overlooked system, with Ratboy's help.
Darks would have been proud of this one...

I'm on my way out. I have to go pick up one of my kids who had a weekend visit with her siblings in one town (1 1/2 hours east) then return her to the facility she is in in Little Rock (another 3 hours south). Gonna be a long day's driving, and this kid talks your ear off. Sweet kid though, whose had more than her share of bad breaks.
She needs a pet possum.

Her brothers would probably have them all rounded up in no time. They catch critters all the time, especially the oldest. A couple of weeks ago, he got in trouble for catching a copperhead.
Poor kid. My mom wouldn't let me play in the swamp for over a year after I got snake bit.
She don't look a day over 75 great genes!

Okers, nevermind the above.
Possum in three seperate drawers, and dreams about aliens invading through vid games.
And I was dreaming about being stuck in some bathroom somewhere with everything being horribly out of proportion to my stature.
The toilet was itty bitty, but I had to climb the drawes to get to the sink.
Not to mention the fact that despite it being an occupied bathroom, people kept walking in, mostly women.
Laughing because I was stuck in the bathroom.
(I couldn't get out of the bathroom for some reason.)
