Long weekend silence. Round these parts people start getting out of town on Thursday afternoon or Friday morn. Not much work happening anywhere in the city. LOL

I have out of town guests or I'd be at the beach, too.

How 'bout you, you and the 'possum got plans for the weekend ? hehehe :)

I'm just home grabbing some lunch, then I have to go initiate an investigation.

Next one that shows up is going for a ride....a little further into the woods. Next thing you know I will have PITA after me for possum abandonment.

Goodness Gracious. It was 72 at last night at midnight. Its something like 91 or 92 out there today and getty a little steamy. No cooling rain, to speak of, until Monday or Tuesday.

FOFLOL.... I guess my bad habits are contageous... cause I know you know its PETA... unless you're having a Pita sandwich for lunch. LOL

This won't be a bad one. I was a little concerned initially because I was the one who took the initial call from LE a couple of nights ago and this boy (15) was making allegations against his dad (who has custody) of major drug abuse and was refusing to go home. The dad wouldn't even let cops in the house the other night. I was having visions of having to go over there with LE and a major scene ensuing, ending in dad's arrest; however, I discovered he is with his mom since the other night. I have to go and interview him and his mom. After that, I can arrange to interview dad in a controlled environment.

But of course....unless you're referring to a general "pain in the @$$." Much more accurate acronym, if you ask me.

Good that it doesn't have the potential for real ugly as it might have but still, that is a lot of drama. The 'possum diversion may be a "Good Thang" after all.

LOL Well, I'm sitting here bare-footed, in shorts and the A/C is going full blast. I shouldn't complain... until this week, we've had the lovliest, extended spring. Warn.... ok, very warm (hehe) and even hot some days but unusually low humidity for south Louisiana. Unfortunately, this steamy stuff is the norm and it will stay with us until mid September.
