Resti, I did not want you to show my pied a terre as I believe it would tend to scare away the more fastidious ladies among the DD shower. Not to mention queer my, albeit precarious, standing on the singles thread.

I have explained the dilapidated shambles to the good Gran as being one of my noble ancestors many fishing lodges in the Middle ages. Methinks she does believe, for inasmuch she has not vouchsafed to me any of her colorful expressions of incredulity.

Don't want to be a fat man,
people would think that I was just good fun.
Would rather be a thin man,
I am so glad to go on being one.
Too much to carry around with you,
no chance of finding a woman who
will love you in the morning and all the night time too.

Don't want to be a fat man,
have not the patience to ignore all that.
Hate to admit to myself half of my problems came from being fat.
Won't waste my time feeling sorry for him,
I seen the other side to being thin.
Roll us both down a mountain
and I'm sure the fat man would win.

We don't have a dog now...that is my daughters dog.

It's true, they do seem to take on a look of their pets. Hope it's Sherri's husband that ends up looking like her...lol.

You should hear Ian Anderson sing it.

BTW, do you have enough space to put the legs of a recently unemployed engineer under your table.

Spanikopita and lamb....

I sure do kiddo. Love to fill bellies, and Al and I can't eat that much anymore. Sighhh....

Spinach Pie, Lamb, sauce for Lamb, and beans. It was very good, but I'm way too stuffed. urrrgh.

By the way the pie was easy and Al said better than our fav Greek restaurant. If anyone is interested, I'll post the recipe. It's authentic Greek and I found it on Google.. Where else..? lol

It's not fish, Cardy, but it was good just the same.;)
