It could just be that she looks like that without makeup.
I had a roommate in college who was very beautiful, but very pale. Strawberry blonde, milk white skin, huge blue eyes (nearly blind without her contacts!). But her lashes were so fair, her whole face seemed like one white blur. But when she put on just a little makeup -- killer.
