We are #30 out of 1809 active teams in daily point production.

Our JV team is #81. (Not bad, DUmpers.)

and a point of personal pride, we're finally gaining on SISD, the team that passed us like a bat out of hell over Christmas.

We're now only 300,000 points away from catching them, and producing about 4,000 more points per day.

While our JV may be doing well, it's not time to start looking in the rear view mirror, but keep our sights focused on the road ahead.

They never last 10 days unless you're running a computer that's really really old :)

I feel good when I can get one out in 2 weeks.

Does anyone know why my production seems to be so low overnight? I have shut off all of the energy saver setting etc. but I still seem to get very little output overnight.

Laptop or PC?

Have you disabled any screen savers. They seem to conflict, also scheduled spyware cans from MS anti-spyware, and AV scans tend to really bollocks up the works. I had to set mine back, to only run 2 nights per week, instead of every night.

Laptops, unless you specify, are set by default at some higher power saving levels than desktops, where the HD goes idle, at 1hr, and it takes F@H awhile to tickle it back into life.

Also, a problem mostly with laptops, is letting the PC shut down the network card, to save power. Certain workunits want to check in periodically, and are unable to wake up the network card, which delays the process.

I'm running F@H on my desktop PC. I'll try changing the settings for my AV hopefully that will do it. Thanks.

Woo hoo!

I was barely holding on to 58th place by a thread this morning. Now, after turning in a relatively big WU, I've rocketed up to a very firm 57th place.

Sigh.
