He made the big throws when his team needed them.

Hopefully the secondary will stay in shape because they will have to be mobile and quick. The defensive line will be strong. The offensive line needs to work on timing every day until the game.

I'd take the Seahawks and the points. A couple of good teams, though. Should be a good game.

Jake Delhome just called Steve Smith out and said he got frustrated, i wonder if the media is going to hold him up to the same scrutiny as they did Peyton. Jake you threw 3 picks, maybe you should point more fingers at yourself. :D

They should. He played like crap. You had to know that Seattle would take Smith away. No excuses.

They wont hammer him like they did Peyton, for some reason he is held up to a higher standard. Probably because in his first
8 years he has the best stats in NFL history.

Anyone now about the turf in Detroit? Is it old-style astroturf or some of this new, more forgiving, grass-like stuff?

I hear ya on that... the thing that stuck out the most about this year's playoffs is the wild inconsistency of what is and isn't a penalty.

Carolina lost their top three running backs..any team would pin their ears and go after the QB..which Seattle did..Pittsburgh has all of their RB's for the game..which I think will make a difference..as for Carolina..they need to dump Stephen (always injured) Davis and get help for DeShaun (almost as injured) Foster..

Also, who's the "home team" this year, AFC or NFC?
