Are the numbers in parentheses after the schedule rating the rank in toughness of schedule? I noticed Carolina is 30 and Seattle is 32
I'm not sure, but I think you're probably right. Massey also has all of the divisions plus each of the two conferences ranked. The AFC West is #1, the AFC in general #4, the NFC in general #6 and the NFC West #10. So yes, the Seahawks had an easy division schedule and a mediocre AFC schedule, but still they ran through their schedule about as well as anyone could. Winning 11 straight games is extremely rare in the NFL, no matter what division you're in.
Hey, don't sweat the lack of respect. It will make the victory that much sweeter. I'm now a Titans fan more than Seahawks because I live in Tennessee. Three years ago we came into the playoffs having won 10 of the last 11 games, but got very little respect. We had a better record and more victories against playoff teams than any other team, but we still got precious little respect. We didn't even get one player voted to the Pro-Bowl and Jeff Fisher didn't get named coach of the year. Until we were derailed by the Raiders, it made for a particularly sweet ride. Just wish we'd gone all the way that year because it looks to be a long time before we get back there.
