I could only sit thru the first 2 boys last night...it was unwatchable. Way Gay. I am glad Patrick is gone....his neck was way too long. I was also annoyed by the "crooner" guy who did an Elvie impersonation. I had to turn it off after that one...made me feel dumber for watching it.

It's always worth a shot though, and VFTW never chickens out on voting for the actual worst! We just can't help someone that has absolutely no fan base at all though, but it's OK though because we have so many bad guys in the competition and we'll pick a new one next Wednesday. On the other side of things, BRENNA IS SAFE! This is a true VFTW victory. Thanks to all of the Worsters who helped us vote for her. IIRC, Clay made himself over in the time between his audition and his first appearance in Hollywood--got rid of the glasses, etc. But he definitely became more ... what's the word ... "glamorous" during the Top 12.

Pfft. 2-for-4, and not pleased about the two I missed on. I'll admit that neither Patrick or Becky were likely to win the competition, but they were considerably better than many who made the cut last night.

I think the judges take turns being good cop, bad cop to the contestants. Someone needs to be supportive but someone also needs to keep reality on the table. I think Simon isn't always the prick he appears to be. The one exception I see is that he does make too many deliberately hurtful comments about people's appearances. jmo

I totally agree with everything you said. I wish I had caught that interview with Simon, though. It sounds really interesting.

FNC played an interview with Simon from a few months back and he said that this bunch are the most greedy for the win bunch and that most of them ARE NOT NICE PEOPLE. He said it more than once and he meant it.

I think the only genuine dudes are Chris, Chicken Little and Bucky. The rest are probably a-holes.

Chris being the only really guy who looks the part though.
