I got that impression, too. She is so phony. I don't know who said it, but I totally agree with whoever said she would fit right in on Hee Haw. She's doing a caricature of a a southern girl.

Top: Taylor and Mandisa
Upper tier: Katharine, Elliott, Chris
Middle tier: Lisa, Bucky, Paris
Lower tier: Kellie, Melissa, Ace
Bottom: Kevin
Likely to go home tonight? Kevin or Melissa.

She also won a couple beauty pageants. No one gets far in pageants without knowing how to hone their image. She thinks she can ride the dumb blond train to the final 2 or 3. I hope she's wrong.

The latest treat in Dogpatch.

Two delicious pickles on an all-gherkin patty.
All topped off with our special pickle sauce.
Plus, for a limited time only, try our Pickle Tower Combo. Five juicy pickles in a sesame seed bun.
Large French Pickles and a Thick Pickle Shake.

What I mean is that, it looked like the producers were pushing Chris over the others--the smoke, the lightworks, the rock show, and I thought the music drowned out his voice. That said, he's still my favorite, but Taylor is growing on me. I noticed that. Isn't nice that he got the extras that others didn't? lol

Unfortunately, I meant Kellie. Not that I think she deserves it. I just think there are enough stupid people voting who are enamored with her ridiculously overdone blonde/southern/sexpot/dumb hick routine to get her through that far. I hope I'm wrong. I think if it winds up being Taylor, Chris and Kellie, one of the guys will win.

(Paris) I think that's what Simon meant by the wind-up doll comment. She's doing what she is programmed to do with absolutely no feeling behind it. Exactly.

Kevin's just a wee little kitten in the tiger cage at the zoo, isn't he? Hissing and spitting won't get him too far compared to the big cats!

Bucky - what was with the chick hair? Awful. If he were to wear his hair like that to the next NASCAR race in Rockingham he be beaten up...and deservedly so. ROFLMAO

That being said, Simon ripped her knowing full well that she'll sail through to the next round. Now he has plausible deniability when he pimps for her later in the year. The Gherkin was so awful last night--in every way--that I don't think she'll survive that long.
(Pee Wee) He's good for comic relief and nothing more.
At this point in his life, I agree. But he's only sixteen. Maybe in a few years when he's filled out (vocally and physically) he might have a career. He's already proved that he has confidence--that will help him a lot down the road.
Top tier: Chris, Taylor, Katherine
Absolutely.
