Two hours tonight, two hours tomorrow night - we'll go from 7:00AM to 11:00AM on what they're calling Day 5. Starting a 8pm Eastern.

I suppose that maybe, one of these days, I should tune in and see what all the hubbub is about...

Since Rush and Laura were both raving about this last week, I will watch it for the first time tonight. Anything I should know?

By far the greatest, most patriotic, most entertaining show. It's a rare that a show can be so entertaining and so right at the same time.

HELP!
I've been ad avid fan since it's inception, and I (and many others) have a problem. During the 2-hour season finale last year, we had a power failure in New England after the first hour, and no one saw the last hour. I called the local Fox station to ask them to rebroadcast it, and they couldn't.
Can someone give me a synopsis? HOW DID IT END!

From what i can see by the commercials, someone in NSA leaks Jack is alive, and he is hunted by the agency or something.

I understand that the writers of 24 had to make some last-minute changes to the script because of pressure from the Democrats.
What we will see in hour 1 is that the CTU detects a possible plot to detonate nuclear devices in five American cities, but they have to stop short and sit on their hands because the Iranian and Chechen terrorists cleverly placed telephone calls to their co-conspirators in the United States.
For the next 22 episodes, we get to watch as CTU tries in vain to get a FISA warrant issued in time to intercept the terrorists' communications. Then, in the 24th episode we get to watch each of the five nuclear devices detonating.

Excuse my ignorance here since I watch very little tv, BUT what is 24? A sitcom? A military show? What?
