When my kids were little they thought Journey was singing "broken arms".

One of the best, and most underrated, guitarists of ALL TIME!

Last June at the "Shredder's Clinic."

He was on the cover of Vintage Guitar magazine a few months back. He's still jamming out (when he's not competing in amateur bodybuilding contests). Sadly, a Dokken reunion appears to be out of the picture as Don and George don't particularly get along. Don hated sharing the spotlight.

Warrant did have some good songs!

And don't get me started on the "Cherry Pie" video. :D

"To Hell With The Devil" was one of my favorite headbanging tunes from Stryper.

When people complain about todays music, just scan thru these and you will realize how many turds were hatched in days gone by.

Yes.

And where is Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart??

Yes.

And likewise where is "Lady in Red"?

For a short time. In 1989, I was 12 and was a total metalhead, both the hair bands and the harder stuff. I had a mullet for about 4 months until my dad got a hold of the clippers...

Step inside (walk this way)
You and me babe (hey, hey!)
Hey! hey! hey!
Huh!

Love is like a bomb, baby, c’mon get it on
Livin’ like a lover with a red hot thong
Lookin’ like a tramp, like a video vamp
Demolition woman, can I be your man?
(be your man)
Hey! hey!
Razzle ’n’ a dazzle ’n’ a flash a little light
Television lover, baby, go all night
Sometime, anytime, sugar me sweet
Little miss ah innocent sugar me, yeah
Hey!
C’mon

Take a bottle
Shake it up
Break the bubble
Break it up

(pour some sugar on me)
Ooh, in the name of love
(pour some sugar on me)
C’mon fire me up
(pour your sugar on me)
Oh, I can’t get enough

I’m hot, sticky sweet from my head to my feet yeah
Hey! hey! hey!
(huh!)

Listen!
Red light, yellow light, green-a-light go!
Crazy little woman in a one man show
Mirror queen, mannequin, rhythm of love
Sweet dream, saccharine, loosen up
(loosen up) I loosen up
You gotta squeeze a little, squeeze a little, tease a little more
Easy operator come a knockin’ on my door
Sometime, anytime, sugar me sweet
Little miss ah innocent sugar me, yeah
(yeah!)
Give a little more

I’m hot, sticky sweet from my head to my feet yeah
(you got the peaches, I got the cream)
Sweet to taste (saccharine)
’cos I’m hot (hot!)
So hot
Sticky sweet from my head
(head!) my head
(head to my feet)
To my feet
Do you take sugar?
One lump or two?

Take a bottle (take a bottle)
Shake it up (shake it up)
Break the bubble
Break it up (break it up)

(pour some sugar on me)
Oh, in the name of love
(pour some sugar on me)
Get all, come get it
(pour your sugar on me)
Ooh
(pour some sugar on me)
Yeah!
Sugar me!

Hee! :D That's almost as good as Elton John's classic, "Hold me closer, Tony Danza..."

Warrant-

The lead singer, Jani Lane, is from my hometown of Akron, OH. I've met him once. Nice guy, but a poster child for "Rock Against Drugs" commercials...he's about 42 but looks 60. I'd put "I Saw Red" and "Heaven" in my top 20, but not my top 10. Good times, good times...
