Some how I see everything tying back into the previous seasons. The "Pandora's Box" that Henderson is talking about has to be some kind of conspiracy that goes up to the highest levels of the U.S. government. It has been going on for some time and has tentacles into everything. Nina Myers was involved (remember she told Jack before he capped her that she still had "valuable information") although Walt Cummings was just a pawn and didn't realize it. The nuclear bomb plot in Season Two was part of it (remember who was actually behind it) and the events of Season Four were being manipulated by someone we never saw but Marwin referred to as "The Emir". You're assuming the writers have some sort of master plan to tie all of these seasons together, when they don't even have a master plan for each individual season.

Not so much a "master plan" but one basic idea that each season then ties back into.
They might not have even had it when the show started but developed it as the show progressed.

They might be able to cobble something together, sure. But they sure didn't plan it.

I was over on the 24 boards this morning (when FR was down). There was speculation that Tony wasn't really dead. They did not have deceased stamped on his profile and he didn't get the silent clock ticking (even Edgar got that).
Then about noon they stamped Tony deceased. There was much wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Tony dead too...sniff...sniff...

I think Sutherland is a producer, so why kill Jack off anyway?
Even if he goes 7 seasons, he can still do movies about Bauer for big money if he isn't killed off now and then.
Bauer at 80 with a belly jumping walls, breaking the neck of bad guys and still not needing a restroom would still be breathtaking entertainment.

Tony was jabbed with a needle that we assumed had a deadly dose of something in it, perhaps it didn't and Tony wasn't trying to kill that guy, soooooo Tony will live ???? (sigh)

He's going to kidnap her instead of take her out of town IMO.
Kim didn't think about what she said about people dying around her dad.
Had SHE not screwed around on her parents the first episode, the mother would still be alive and she would not have been kidnapped.
She is the most dense and selfish female character I've seen on a show in a long time.

I followed my link in post
8410 and it didn't refresh evidently. I tried it several times. After opening a new browser tab and going to the site, it said deceased. Weird.

Ok. This is weird. I followed the link again. It said deceased. I clicked on his name and the "Deceased" disappeared.

I still see it the "deceased".
Fox's website is a little weird. Whoever did their web design doesn't deserve a bonus.
You might try clearing your browser cache and see if that fixes it.

Then about noon they stamped Tony deceased. There was much wailing and gnashing of teeth. LOL! But that does kinda suck, though. I hope they don't kill off any more favorite characters. This is getting ridiculous :o

I didn't get a chance to read the thread or post, but I have to say I really didn't like the show last night. So many good guys were killed, and no bad guys were. It was a real downer.
