Cuthbert, Devane Returning to '24'

Monday, February 13, 2006

09:56 AM PT
It's been an open secret that Elisha Cuthbert would return to "24" at some point this season. Now it's official.

FOX isn't saying when, but the network is confirming that Cuthbert will be appearing on the show in the coming weeks as Jack (Kiefer Sutherland) tries to re-establish contact with his daughter now that he's not pretending to be dead anymore. William Devane is also set to reprise his role as Secretary of Defense James Heller, and Ray Wise ("Good Night, and Good Luck") and C. Thomas Howell ("The Outsiders") are also joining the show.

Additionally, FOX says it will air back-to-back episodes of the show on Monday, March 6, with previously announced guest stars Peter Weller and JoBeth Williams making appearances then.

=====

Yeah!!!! 2 hours of Jack next Monday.

MIke also voted to remove Palmer from power! Remember.....but Palmer forgave him....

That's right. And Palmer fired him because he couldn't trust him .... hmm.

My suspicion of Sec Def Heller is being confirmed. Then again it might all be a head fake.

Mike did not "vote" to remove Palmer. He was the Chief of Staff. The cabinet voted to remove the President with the Secretary of State casting the deciding vote. Mike was deeply involved in the removal process so Plamer decided that he could no longer trust him and fired him.

What I said. Mike sided with the VP during Palmer's "trial".

!

Wait, that wouldn't work. Mike would have to leave the president and find Jack to tase him ... has to be someone else.

That is correct, Mike was not a cabinet member. He is like Rove.
