I caught it first on A@E reruns on a holiday weekend.They go all day, back to back! I said something about it to my daughter who could not believe I had never watched it.

I jumped in at the beginning of last season and not seeing the first three wasn't really a problem at all.

Evening, OXEN. I never even heard of 24 until last season when I noticed a live thread. I don't usually watch much night time tv, but I was curious and turned it on. HOOKED!

I'm sure it's "stand-alone" enough that you could watch this series beginning tonight, but for all the background, you really need to see it from season one.

Last season, in the last episode, Jack, Curtis, and an "unnamed CTU" officer went after Marwan and I said, "That guy's dead meat." Sure enough, he's walking down the middle of a garage and gets it.

Actually, clear many, many months because you will want all the seasons on DVD. It's that good.
