"Army had two Heisman Trophy winners on there team in the 40's"
I'm quoting Gene Wojciechowski, senior national columnist for ESPN.com.
Right or wrong, it does make for some good game day hype.
True dat it does make good hype. This from http://www.nationalchamps.net/NCAA/heisman/heisman_trophy_winners.htm
1946
Glenn Davis
Army
HB
1945
Doc Blanchard
Army
FB
If I remember Glenn Davis finished 2nd in voting every year he was in college.
yeah but do we really need to have 2 ESPN channels showing us the Boise State game simultaneously???
TD!! Nebraska!!!
yeah.
Michigan is again finding a way to lose in a bowl game.....
LOL, well if they keep missing tackles like that they may not need to show up for the second half.
or blitzing without playing zone....
Whoa if Michigan runs like that on special teams Nebraska may not...
LOL
td Michigan, tied 7-7
yeah...
believe me, if they can, Michigan will find a way to lose this one...
My god, Nebraskas special teams coverage sucks.
LOL...
I am going to watch this one away from the computer...
I'll be back....
Huskers driving.
TD. Tie game.
Yep.
14-14 at Halftime.
The Huskers are holding on pretty well.
I didn't think their defense was nearly as fast as it has shown itself to be.
Michigan has had some good breaks to stay in it, they need there offense to wake up. Nebraska is surprising me with 4 starters out on defense they are still controlling the line of scrimmage.
GBR!
PS Can Holtz and May be any more stupid?
May usually isn't that bad.
I think Holtz is worse than Trevvie pooh though....
Did you catch the end of the BC-Boise game?
