I've heard of tire shop mechanics getting killed by exploding tires on split rims but a hub cap?
Being killed by a hub cap changing a sealed rim is sooooo gay.
<< It was either going to be truckers or cowboys because they represent probably the two most independent groups in America. >>
Sure. Being called a poofter is just a mistake on the part of the caller - or perhaps a projection - but calling sheepherders "cowboys," as the film's makers did, is a bit of a rotten deal, doncha reckon?
Merry Christmas, by the way and throughout 2006 may His blessings continue to follow you and all of those you love.
Warmest - Brian

You directed folks to Mojo (a good site that I use in my business) for numbers and then you mis-state what's there. BBM did over $13k per theater over the weekend, not $2-3K.
I've been betting it will not return a profit and I still think that will prove to be the case. I won't see it, even if it showed up on cable for free. I hope it dies but we should deal in truth when the facts are at our fingertips.
"...opposing the homosexualization of society..."
I'm only talking about civil unions--what's the big deal? How are you saving society by preventing gays from paying hospital visits to their dying "partners," for example? I can understand people opposing gay "marriage," as it has religious connotations, but what's the big deal with allowing them these rights under a secular, civic framework? How is that interfering with your life? It is your right to dislike homosexuality, but at some point, one has to mind his own business, don't you think?
Do the gay sheepherders smoke in the movie?Define......no, on second thought, never mind. :shudder:

When the issue becomes in your face public and entails debate regarding public recognition and acceptance of a sexual choice that I consider at a minimum disordered -I can and will mind it and oppose it because it is my business to do so -don't you think? Your reasoning seems to be but a parroting of liberal memes...
I don't see how to explain the disparity. Even assuming that the weekend number is the sum of Fri+Sat+Sun, the daily numbers don't even add to 10K, let alone 13K.
You seem familiar with this milieu; do you have any idea of how to explain this?
All week-end numbers are estimates until Tuesday morning. That is when actuals appear.
Actually, I'm simply in agreement with Bush's stance on the issue. If you take out the requirement for same-sex unions to be considered a "sacred marriage" by the government, the whole issue is stripped of its controversy. It even becomes boring. This is about dry, logistical things like taxation, estate planning, and hospital visitation rights. Bush himself said, in a recent interview, that "I view the definition of marriage different from legal arrangements that enable people to have rights. States ought to be able to have the right to pass laws that enable people to be able to have rights like others." I just think this is much less of an issue than people are making it out to be.
Disgusting faggot Bump.
This mindset is termed "denial" -liberals tend to be in a state of denial or in a state of delusion. Meanwhile reality happens...
This is actually the most convincing argument I have heard yet for an Oscar or Golden Globe nomination. If those nominations are based on quality and not popularity, then the nominations make sense.
Clearly that was not the author's intent, but he did a very good job.
I'd like to see how you change a tire with the hubcap still on.
Right, right. The president and I are liberals because we aren't obsessed with homosexuals.
Dear me, I can't wait for 'Cornholio II'
Worrying about some queer in Hollywood isn't my idea of productive thought. Long ago I decided that if some dude likes being ramrodded that's his choice, just don't ever proposition me 'cause I'll knock your jaw so far out of alignment that it'll be wired shut for a month.
Who - the homosexual activists and their supporters, or those REACTING to their aggression?
Both sides.
