I read some books and listen to others that I download from Audible.com on my portable audio player.I just wish the audiobook industry wasn't so damned spotty with what they publish. I can find no rhyme or reason behind how they publish these titles.
Hell, I've even seen many new audiobooks as cds available in mp3 format, but no download available.

My guess is that they fear file sharing and delay or deny download availability of some titles. But selling a book in .mp3 CD format that could be transferred to a computer hard drive and then spread through file sharing nullifies my guess. Except, the latter would require a bit more effort.
