Didn't go anywhere. I was on call. Fortunately, it was quiet. I enjoyed just getting away from work. I have another 4 day weekend next weekend....and I'm not on call. Blue thingy time!

Really good. I try to minimize the commercialism. Libby would be proud. Their Dad came over and gave them $$$, so all was good.
Where did you go? I heard there was a shark attack on the west coast the other day. Was that you?

We went down (Ohio) to stay with at our older son's (married this summer) with them, brought LL's Mom, another son. DIL's parents, brother and sister came from New Mexico.
It was wonderful, lots of feasting, fun, song, games........

Sounds like a really great time with family. That's what's nice about big families. Mine are mostly back east in WI, so I was on the phone most of the time, laughing and chucking it up.
But.."Lots of feasting..."
(Off the coast of Oregon?)
(We missed your unrelenting teasing the last couple days.)

Some sharks don't go for those cold waters........what the heck was someone doing on the beach, let alone in the water, in Oregon this time of year?
Call me when you hear of one in a warm climate........I'll admit it, I bite in warm climates!

Surfing! I admit I was wondering about that, too. Didn't know they surfed off the coast of Oregon!!
Where are you off to next?

I've seen sharks while surfing, but wouldn't be caught dead in Oregon this time of year......
no pun intended We will be heading off to ski in Northern Michigan at the end of the week.

Oh, Northern MI, cold?! I remember skiing around Hudson Bay one year and almost froze, literally.
It's balmy here. 60 degrees. But rain ALL! week! Gotta get used to that out here. I had fun swerving in and out of traffic this morning, shopping. Put on a new Mary J. Blige CD and was good to go!
Is your office closed all week?
