Passed this place on my wanderings this afternoon.

Mosteiro de Sta. María de Monfero
1134 Started as a Benedictine Monastery
1146 Passed to the Cister order.
1177 Managed to get some money from the King Ferdinand II
1620 Main facade built
1835 Ceased being a Monastery.
1990 Facade and interior renovated.
The remainder of the Monastery is in bad shape.

Freezing actually.
We have wind and colder temps here.
Had some snow squalls earlier, but nothing of consequence.
