He had a great evening, and I was dreaming about crushing villages and belching fire at idiotic knights who challenged my scaly wrath.
*ugh*

I'm glad that the world is not my fault.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Yes,
I can see now that's what he meant.
*sigh*
What are you complaining about? I thought those were considered 'good dreams' for you...hee
To: EsmeraldaA; null and void
Yes, but when one is a scaly beast of doom, one does not and should not invite the Princess -who art prey- in to ones cave for tea and conversation.

* in to ones cave for tea and conversation.*
That sounded so damn cute and sweet!
Not at all like a scaly beast. LOL!
To: EsmeraldaA
Yeah. Like a book club, this evening's book is "To Serve Man"...

LOL!
I haven't read the book, but I know what you mean.
That should get me some perspective, huh?
To: Cardhu
Thank You.
That was my first great love of a philosopher -- Nietzsche.
I had a great laugh from that.

Yes, heh hehe
You reminded me Of 'Pete's Dragon' and some other thing I can't exactly recollect.
To: EsmeraldaA

Mercer Mayer(I think) "the princess and the dragon"
She gets herself 'kidnapped' by the dragon, and when he turns out to be excrutiatingly polite, she busts up his troll bone china.

Actually it IS a book that was made into a episode. I don't know if the author is Damien Knight or if he was the editor.
To: Darksheare; null and void
I think you're right.
I have this image in my head that fits what you describe.
I don't know from where I got this image though....
To: null and void
I think Damien is wrong (not sure) it's probably Damon.
To: EsmeraldaA; null and void
Sorry about that.
It is quite an odd image, the princess on her chair with her arms crossed, the dragon politely offering her tea..

Yes, it is odd.
I do have his feeling that is was a bit dark and not appealing for children (somehow).
To: EsmeraldaA
Somewhat.
(The dragon did eventually get the princess to leave..)
Was on a video tape with "How the Trollusk got his Hat"
