I'm under the impression that it was an unusual occasion and I enjoyed myself very much. :) It was a medieval themed evening, the setting was perfect as was the food. I love that part of Switzerland

LOL. Well, mercifully, I didn't see them. I was not impressed with how very worn the stone steps were. It wasn't that I didn't appreciate how old they were or how many feet had trod on those steps over the years... I certainly did. It was simply a matter of how difficult it had become to walk on them in high heels. LOL. You sorta had to stay close to the wall or you tilted backwards. LOL That was true both before and after the wine. LOL The enormous fireplace in the great hall with an entire deer roasting in it was impressive. My table was very near the fireplace and I was delighted with that.
Are you a Lord Byron fan ?

My new neighbor is from Gulfport. He says that a lot of it is just gone. He was lucky. He sold his house just before the the storm hit.
