We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good evening!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
There was strong voter turnout across Iraq in the Parliamentary elections there.
450,000 are without power in the south after an ice storm has moved through North Carolina, Virginia (fine where I am), and West Virginia.
And despite state law to the contrary, transit workers in New York city are preparing to go on strike tonight at midnight.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Sorry I missed you. Well, I slept 4;30, so I guess that's an impovement. My guess is the accuweather arthritis index is high today.
How are you this morning? Are you at your mother's home?
This guy is amazing.
Right, John, Trill?
Just amazing.
A little story about the last time our boys had their pedicures.
The farrier walked into the barn, but left the door open. PB wasn't in the barn, but within nose reach of the door. SLAM!!
I swear he looked at the guy and said..."What...were you born in a barn?"
Actually, Sarah taught him to close the door. It cracked me up when he did it, though.
Reminds me of Art Linkletter's "Kids say the darndest things."
Nasty outside. As expected, we have what you people west of us had....freezing rain...Nasty.
Good morning!
>>Are you at your mother's home?
No.
I first visited where I used to live - about an hour away from mom. Friends and I were to go to dinner. Right after I landed - a storm was sneaking through - and the dinner got postponed a day - so I hunkered down in a motel - seems to be a lot better than predicted although there are accidents and school closings galore.
Freezing Fog and icy roads here.....fog actually freezes, according to the weatherman! "The fog is increasing by the minute", Charlotte reporter says. BUT temps are expected to be in the 50's this afternoon.
Unlike the hundreds of thousands across the Carolinas, I've been most fortunate in that I have had electrical power and heat. Duke Power guys are working hard to make repairs....hopefully finishing before the *s* coming Sat. night and Sun.
Good morning, CM! 8 degrees here, but no snow.
Do you have to put 100% antifreeze in your car's radiator?
HOY coffee = HOT coffee.........proof that I need it!
LOL! Actually, I'll take some of your HOY coffee, please! 100% antifreeze? Nope. Just 50/50. Today I will be riding my bicycle for 2 miles to get to the bus stop. No driving. I've driven every day so far this week and the snow is all gone on the sidewalks...so bike ride will be easy.
Judge Napolitano going on and on about those "bloody Santa" people that Fox interviewed yesterday. He said they were two of the loopiest people he had ever met!
Also, after the show, people went and stole much of the display. Good for them!
Tony Snow is a good read.
as is George Will
David Limbaugh has one of the best columns he's ever written. It's at townhall.com.
Good morning.
It will be pretty there today, Cmom. We had some precipitation last night while we attended a Christmas do. Good thing we came in the 4-wheel drive Suburban.
I have a friend who is traveling from Statesboro, GA to Lumberton, NC today. How do those roads look? I'm worried about her.
Are you REALLY hungry, Rav?
LOL about the KEVIN line, IG. What a hoot!
We have about 7 inches of the white stuff on the ground.
Pretty though...
Today a few more *S* showers possible.
Am on a first name basis with my snow shovel.
Kevin...the savior of the world? ; )
Kids say the darndest things.
For a moment I thought it read, "Freezing Frogs".
Be careful out there.
