Was it AWESOME or awful?
The reason why I ask. I listened to Randy Roads on the way home. She and her callers were laughing about what an "IDIOT Bush is", how he can't speak, etc. She kept talking about how there were no applause times and just dead silence and that the cameras were "ordered" to stop showing the audience because they were all asleep.
I just absolutely HATE liberals!!!

It was awesome. It outlined quite distinctly the economic progress that has been made in Iraq and how the Iraqis are taking more responsibility for the running of their country.
Particularly highlighted was Mosul and Najaf. We've opened schools, trained police and militia, pushed back the insurgency and created jobs. People are beginning to go about their business, even create businesses, dine at restaurants and visit religious shrines which have been long abandoned due to the problems with the terrorists.
President Bush ended by nailing the RATS on their cut and run strategy (they admire the French SOOOooo much) and promised again that as long as he's CIC we will never abandon the fight.
She was right about there being little applause. He was speaking to a hostile audience. They were predisposed, as was this Roads person, to not accepting what he had to say. But the speech was chock-full of facts, not hysterical emotional lines, and they couldn't refute the facts. There was scattered, but strong when it was, applause on at least two occasions. There was no heckling or booing. I thought it was rather well received. I don't think the cameras were ordered not to show the audience. I have no info on that one way or the other. I suspect Miss Roads doesn't either.
