I totaled my car yesterday I turned left directly into another vehicle the sun completely blinded me (really that sounds stupid but I blame Mr. Sun) I never saw the truck I ran head on into what a bad day.

So I need some sillyness today for sure.

Here is a turkey recipe that also includes the use of popcorn as a stuffing -imagine that ! When I found this recipe, I thought it was perfect for people like me, who just are not sure how to tell when poultry is thoroughly cooked, but not dried out.....Give this a try

Note: You must follow the directions exactly.

BAKED STUFFED TURKEY

14-20 lb. turkey

1 cup butter

1 cup stuffing ( Pepperidge Farm is good)

salt and pepper to taste

1cup uncooked popcorn (ORVILLE REDENBACHERS LOW FAT)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brush turkey well with melted butter, salt and pepper. Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn. Place in baking pan with the neck end toward the back of the oven..Listen for the popping sounds....

When the turkey's ass blows the oven door open and the turkey flies across the room it is done.

Since this is the OFST we're allowed to be excessively anal retentive. The only fat in popcorn is what you add, or what gets added at the packaging plant (i.e. microwave popcorn). Popcorn is naturally fat free.

Happy Friday all!

A middle aged woman lived alone except for her pet, a male parrot. The woman was very proud of her parrot because it would sit in the bottom of its cage, cross its wings, and pray. She was also a devout church goer and would often brag to the congregation about her faithful parrot.

One day the women was boasting about her parrot's prayers. An older gentleman was simply amazed by this. ''I have a female parrot and she's just terrible. My son raised her and all she does is curse. She's the most foul mouthed creature I've ever heard,'' he sighed. ''Maybe if we put my parrot with your parrot he would teach mine how to pray and stop cursing so much.''

The woman readily agreed to this and a few days later the gentleman brought his parrot by. The woman's parrot sat praying in the bottom of the cage as they placed the female inside with him. The parrot instantly stopped praying, hopped up, looked the female over and shouted, ''Hot d@#$!! This is what I've been praying for!!''
