Newspaper readership is down the lowest it's been in years; there is a reason for this and yet the press doesn't "get it". If they'd only report the news, and quit editorializing and let people make up their own minds, they might see a rise in sales.
Of course, lots of us prefer the interactiveness of reading/commenting on the news with forums like FR.
Reid is energizing his far left base with his little stunt the other day. Either fund raising is lagging or this is a shot across the bow for other reasons.
I agree with Rush. Instead of Frist crying about what Reid did, we should hit them with a broadside barrage and start indictment proceedings on Joe Wilson.
I heard yesterday that one of the giants...Knight-Ridder...is up for sale. Readership and revenues are down. The MSM are blind and stuck on stupid not to realize what their liberal/biased coverage hath wrought.

I keep waiting for the left to set a trap for the bloggers....
I just heard a stock analyst who was extremely bearish on newspaper stocks, especially the large papers.
They are cutting costs and laying people off all over the place, but circulation is dropping faster than they can keep up with.
The two spots of "good news" for them:
* Their "online advertising revenue" is up 5% (whoopie!)
* Since the demand for it is way, way down, the price of newsprint paper is way, way down!
ROTLFMPO...
