We have elections here today, as well, but I don't know enough about any of the candidates to choose...so, sadly, I didn't make my voice heard.

(Actually, after my jay-walking ticket, I don't look too favorably on Tucson...perhaps I need to consider relocation.)

The Seattle elections are a corrupt mess again.

This was bad enough, but on the way home this was breaking on the radio! (Both links are to FR threads.)

No, you just have to reconsider your location. (You'll need to familiarize yourself with the candidates -- find out their attitudes about jaywalking ordinances, and such.)

You're a citizen now. Write the incumbents letters. Explain your priorities. Ask for their positions.

Dont forget your letters to the editors. Become a somebody, a character, an institution! You go, girl!
