I was a captain in the Air Force, and my wife was a sergeant.
One evening at the officers club, we sat down to dinner and noticed a new couple at our table. The woman wasted no time introducing herself as a captain's wife, emphasizing her husband's status. She explained at length how miserable their last base had been because they "had to live next door to those enlisted people!"
"You think that was bad," I retorted. "I have to sleep with one."

Good morning, Everyone. Good morning to our
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you, Canteen Crew and Mr. Tonk, for preparing the Canteen for today's activities. The only computer story I have is that I have to deal with three of them. One at work. Two at home. Our personal one and one that belongs to the office that I use when I need to work at home. Three times the headache!!!
It's a Rainy Day in DC (sung to the tune of Rainy Night in Georgia...LOL).
I hope you know that I have to throw a tantrum right about now

Ok, moving along.
I talked to my son in Florida this morning. They are all ok. A little damage here and there. But they have power and are ok. They were not hit directly by Wilma. There were tornadoes in the area. That's all I know for now.
Have our FReeper Friends on the east coast checked in? I see Mojo has lost power. (Mojo.....sorry......this is not my fault......it's Wilma's). How about others? SPOTSY?? Diva Betsy??
I've got to take off for a while. I have reports to do. I hope to be able to pop in every once in a while.

Good morning and (((HUGS))) EG. It is cold and wet in my neck of the world! I am not ready for winter! Our nights are already down into the 40s! YUCK!

Well, speaking of computer matters. Mine vomited this morning. The first time in two months it happened. Again it was a "Memory Dump". Restarted the Dell computer and it's working OK right now.
And it got down into the low 30's last night. Got my jumpsuit on this morning.
