The Catholic Church is a Christian Church.

There is a protestant denomination that calls itself "The Christian Church". I remember there being a First Christian Church in my home town when I was a kid.

What are you talking about? The Christian Church is not part of the Catholic Church (and that institution, BTW, is subdivided into various pieces, some of which don't like to talk to each other).
