It's confusing enough that I was six hours earlier just a few days ago.

Gosh, it's funny you should ask. On Friday we had a field trip to a local museum for lunch and she asked to sit with us. Well, she was just in and out of being moody and bipolar - and I can't think of anything offensive we were talking about. Of course, I am clueless as to what offends others since I seem be continually doing that lately. Anyway, we were thinking (and talking later) - geez lady, get a grip. She walked out on us, leaving a full cup of coffee and her dessert.
I detest women managers for the most part - especially ones that only hire other quota hires. Men are strange too but at least they sometimes seem a little more stable in the business environment.

Sick. Well, small businesses are well run by women - I should have said, in my experience, anything with over 400 employees means trouble. The corporate structure WAS set up by men and women do better in small businesses. How's that for non-PC?
In Habla's case, she's not very bright at all and just parrots people. She probably felt out of her element, surrounded by fairly intellectual types.

Michigan's Gov is like that......affirmative action hires throughout the State's business.....true incompetence.....
Oh, and get this - the local Commie paper has been running articles about how academia "might" be slightly biased toward liberal professors. So, the libs in town all jump on board and say how much more intelligent they are than us. Finally, the last couple of days, there have been letters to the editor, disputing that, saying how "those who can't do, teach," how dissertation boards are slanted toward libs, etc. I wouldn't think it's such a problem in the hard-core sciences, but clearly it's an issue in such fields as Poli Sci, Soc, Communications, so on. And has been since FDR got his slimy socialist paws on us.
I have friends in the har core sciences at U Mich. It's even there......the acadamy is such a fraud now.......
Did you go to Venice? I've been there and at the Milan Airport :) Habla would be soooo jealous because her all time hero is the Pope and that's all she could talk about at lunch. Now, I'm not making fun of that - especially since I'm Catholic - but she is one of those "Christians" who doesn't practice what she preaches, and it's a bit sickening.
