She's also a bit ticked cause we moved.......
Ouch.
Cat isn't going to speak to you for awhile then.
Wasn't me, was the giant mouse!
Cute kitty.....highly deranged.
I have to photoshop an eye patch and hat onto my evil 24 pound beasty.
I will expect a good cat pic upon my return......
Will try.
But I am still having image server issue.
(And my cat won't Cooperate!)
Yeah, and I wasn't happy about it either. I had to go to Russellville this morning for another one of these stupid, useless, time and resource wasting "trainings."
This next week is going to be insane. I am off on the Friday before and the Monday after Christmas, but I have to take another day off before Christmas that I have coming or I will lose it. I've already lost some of my holiday time I have coming, which basically means that I worked without pay on those holidays I worked that I didn't take later. I didn't realize that you have to take them before the same holiday rolls around the next year. Anyway, the only days I could possibly take would be either Tuesday or Thursday. Problem is, I have a staffing scheduled next Thursday evening, so I wouldn't really be off, because I'd at least have to go in for that. Also, between now and next Thursday, I have to get Christmas presents delivered to all my kids....which includes a trip to Little Rock, a trip to Fayetteville and a trip to Jonesboro. All approximately the same distance....in totally different directions. And then, of course, there is the kids I have locally. On top of that, there's my regular work plus a day in court and taking two of my kids to the movies. I'm going to be pulling my hair out. And then there's still the dingbat to contend with. And did I mention that I'm on call the whole week of Christmas?
It's just a cat Supercat!
.
.
That is clear off the cuteness scale.
I like that 'damn' emoticon!
I have the same situation, if I don't use my vacation and sick leave, I lose it.
SL, seems like you need to take time for yourself. Set priorities and delegate. If you spread yourself too thin, it is not going to benefit anyone. I am usually like that so I know how hard it is to say no. You need to take care of yourself first! Many of us women can't do that. Can't someone else deliver presents and go to the movies? Sometimes kids don't care who delivers the gifts as long as they get something.;)
LOL!!
Our prblem is that we're short-staffed and overworked. It's the deadlines that are killers, particularly in court cases. You wouldn't believe the sheer volume of time and effort has to go into them, seeing to it that each case is in compliance with court orders, as well as all the reports and documentation that goes into them. I don't mind delivering the gifts. It is just very time consuming, especially the ones that are 130 miles away or so. And the movie was my idea. I want to take these giorls to see The Chronicles of Narnia movie. And I need to make cookies for Dawn and Tyler. Oops, did I forget to mention Christmas shopping? Actually, I have already gotten Dawn and Tyler's major gift taken care of and shipped, but that's it.
You don't need to make cookies if you are too busy. ;)
I can rationalize things really well... LOL!
The movie can wait until after Christmas. What is the highest priority stuff? I know its easier said than done. I can be the master of procrastination, esp. tonight!!!
LOL!
Thanks!
Cute!
Well, since the cookies are really the only thing my daughter asked for...and my grandson loves my cookies, I really want to do the cookies for them. I just need to psych myself up to work some long hours on the days I work and just keep telling myself that the overtime will be great for the after Christmas sales. And I will have 5 days off, if I don't get called out.
Well, there you go. That's great you can have comp time.
That't neat that all your daughter wants is for you to make cookies! What a nice kid!
You shop the after Christmas sales!
