Well, thanks for asking. The rain doesn't really bother me at all. I don't think I have an umbrella. I use a magic nylon parka with a hood. This morning, I had to go grocery shopping. I live with two always hungry young men. Seems like they have to eat more than once a week. LOL

I then shopped at a near by mall. Big sale at Macys. 50% off 50% off. After I got back home for a few hours, I thought I'd better see what bargains another Macy's had, so I dragged my youngest with me to North Seattle and shopped there for a while. Of course I have to bribe him with $20 to go with me. He hates it when I put a Christian radio station on in the car, but oh well.

Decided to drive back through downtown Seattle. Lots of pretty lights. The Space Needle. Boeing Field. It was raining really hard and it's hard to switch lanes with the stop and go traffic, but... back again! Around here, a person has to learn to drive in the rain or go stir crazy indoors. :)

So you don't get out much? You said that is by choice?

That's right you live in the Heartland where as I lived in the Hinderland sadly even heathens had Pagan decorations

...but now Christmas "Persona Non Gratis" in many places in NYC..

Hard to find a station with Christmas Music

one break through Macy clerks was able to have a choice to say Merry Christman or Season Greetings

I bet it was costing them in profits to put a freeze on Christmas!

Thanks Westy,

I had a chance in Alaska (where my radio broadcasting studio window looked out over Cordova Bay) to watch the eagles and crows for hours, with the crows eagerly tormenting the eagles by pulling out their tail feathers inflight. I even watched one crow practicing barrel rolls - yes, flyin inverted for a second, just because that strategy worked well when attacking eagles. he would fly low and slow, then suddenly go inverted and then right himself again.

Good night, Westy. I just noticed the mountain behind the eagle. Is that MT Ranier? And the water? Sweet dreams.

BTW what was cyber lunch today?

This was the first course, a fried vegetable followed by a delicious Lasagna.
An almost meatless day.

The eel soup was excellent. Problem was, what do you say when the waiter asks you why you're laughing at the food?
