A pyrotechnic stunt gone wrong apparently injured Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee on Wednesday night during the band's concert at the Casper Events Center in Casper, Wyoming.
"The lights went out and Roman candles went off," and someone cursed, said Del Kinswoman, who attended the concert with her husband, Eddie, an advertising photographer for the Casper Star-Tribune.
They said Lee was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Lee had been hoisted on a wire and was swinging back and forth between several drum sets perched several feet above the stage when the fireworks went off, said Tom Morton, a Star-Tribune reporter who was at the concert.
Singer Vince Neil told the audience they couldn't perform an encore because Lee was injured and needed medical attention, Morton said.
Wyoming Medical Center has not commented on Lee's injuries.
Motley Crue was scheduled to perform in Bismarck, N.D. on Friday and in Sioux Falls, S.D. on Saturday.
I unfortunately didn't get to see them when they came to Milwaukee this last time but I've seen them three times before and have never been disappointed.
No problem!!
I'm a fan and I'll most likely be there, but I'll probably be one of the younger ones at the show (I was about thirteen when Dr. Feelgood came out, but I've loved them since I was eight). The only problem is that the concert is for original ticket holders, but they'll probably be enough cancellations/refunds to make it possible to get a ticket.

Didn't Vince Neil bust his leg on stage last week?
THIS is what happens when you let a drunk college kid play with fireworks.

In Mid September:
Motley Crue singer Vince Neil fell off the stage during a Friday performance in Atlanta, forcing the band to stop the concert, because of his injured leg, according to the band's official Web site.
Neil, 44, was performing his fifth song with the band on Georgia's Philips Arena, when he leaned over to sing along with the audience and slipped off stage, injuring his leg, police spokesperson Sylvia Abernathy declared.
"I just felt something snap in my leg," recalls Neil. "I just couldn't go on. The show stopped because Neil was rushed to the Piedmont Hospital, where he was treated for a tore part of his calf muscle an released on Saturday.

Remember Steven Percy from Ratt. Well I saw him last night and he looks like my grandfather. He looks sick actually.
What the hell are you guys talking about!
I saw RATT about six years ago. Still rocked! I loved it.
I saw them in 1985. Oh I feel old.
