#1....Laugh with me, my second husband and I laugh and kid each other all the time even after 18 years in marriage.
#2....if this is a second or third marriage, no question about past relationships, and drop the baggage, no one should pay for your past mistakes.
#3....other than financial matters never worry about 10 years down the line, leave that to GOD & live in the present.

I am glad that you liked that one. I have recently gained some weight and I have started back at the Y with a trainer. I am also swimming. However, it is very lonely and boring to go alone.
I would like to get married again some day. I would like a small wedding and a long honeymoon, too. I wear a size 4 1/2 ring, so I can't handle a big diamond. My fingers are not very long, either. LOL!

Hey, Scott! No uh oh here! You would have a small wedding and a long honeymoon! The diamond would be somewhat expensive, but look at it as an investment. :)

How come? A lot of men won't even cry then. Oh, and he cried during sad movies, too.

I kid about the diamond, of course; My wedding ring is just a silver band; Looks like the kind of ring you would get from a CrackerJack box, but it's special to me.

What is the new style? I don't know any self-proclaimed feminists.

Jeez,
I'm sittin' here after a stressful day,
tearing up at what a wonderful list it is.....
And I see that folks think it's funny.
~~sigh~~
I'm never dating again, much less getting married.
I was born on the wrong effin' planet.

22) Make me feel as though I am still desirable.
I have been married for 25 yrs. I'm puzzled as to why its his job to make me feel as 'though' I am still desirable. I know for a fact that I am because of his actions not my feelings.

I know what you mean. I had a thin gold band and a very tiny engagement ring. I loved them and wore them all my married life until a year after my husband's death.

Describes my husband. Sounds like someone can't live up to these ideals so denegrates them.

No flames here. Your suggestions are good ones. And tell the little lady to stop watching Oprah and soaps! Ugh, that stuff will rot the mind. Get her 24 on DVD if she wants to watch something!

Good luck and keep smiling.

Sex in the City pretty much personifies what I think of as the 'new feminism'. That women can only find fulfillment as high-powered, employed, sexual predators.
Old feminism would be Susie B Anthony fighting to be equal to men in the eyes of the law.
My own personal definition of feminism, would be continually seeking to perfect femininity. :-)
