Sex in the City pretty much personifies what I think of as the 'new feminism'. That women can only find fulfillment as high-powered, employed, sexual predators.
Old feminism would be Susie B Anthony fighting to be equal to men in the eyes of the law.
My own personal definition of feminism,would be continually seeking to perfect femininity. :-)

Leaving out the part, in the City really reminded me of my life in NYC in the 80's. (Not that we didn't have , just not like them and not so much *grin*)

I never watched "Sex In The City." I guess your definition is pretty much like mine. I did have a relatively high powered job. I hope I was paid the same as a man if he had been doing my job. I feel that I should be equal under the law. However, I like being a woman and I like being feminine. I also like and appreciate men as human beings. :)
