Yes, fewer problems when we give them ~plenty~ of hay. And we do. The night Cyn had cribbed, I think she got shorted. She was pounding out there, and we went out, her hay was gone, she had played with her feeder, and chewed the board right next to it. I think that's all it was. We gave her some more hay.
And now she knows how to get a refill! ;o)
I'm back from shopping. One of my stops was Pet Smart to see if I could find a pad like the one I borrowed from my friend. They don't make that type anymore, but I they had the Cashel Pads. I had never seen one. That is what I landed up buying and I think it will be more cushy then the one I borrowed. I'm anxious to try it tomorrow.
Did you know there are three types. a wedge, a flat and a reverse wedge? What type do you have? I'm thinking you have the regular wedge, that is what I got.
