The bus ride was fine going up there. I was patting myself on the back for being "smart". They lost my suitcase though so I didn't have my riding clothes or equipment until that evening. After everyone left me I got into it with the bus driver going back. He was short handed so I put my suitcase in myself. He came around and took it out and started talking down and reading me the riot act about how luggage has to be tagged. I should have kept my mouth shut but I diddn't like the way he was talking to me and made a comment about it didn't seem tags made a difference and an "I forgot, ok? That set him off."That was all you had to say" as I grabbed my bag and went inside. He came around the other side and pointed his finger at me and yelled to the clerk, "she , has an attitude" I'm figuring, he's kicking me off anyway so I took the offensive and yelled back and told him, I wasn't riding with him, and that him griping at me about luggage a joke because they couldn't keep up with my tagged suitcase and that yesterday I had to wear dirty clothes until they found it so don't lecture me about systems. He called the clerk in the backroom. The ticket agent came out again and asked me if I really wasn't getting on the bus. I told him no, I'll wait for the next one and showed him I was calling my sister. He told me" you have the best route, with no lay overs. The driver just understaffed and would I just get on the bus and sit in the back because I only had to ride with him to San Antonio. So, I took my tagged bag and gave it to the bus driver with the attitude and stuck my nose in the air and got on the bus. He got in with his nose in the air and off we went. We were going down 35. Traffic was packed. We were kissing close to 18 wheelers he was passing. At that time I got to thinking p/o the bus driver might not have been a good idea. At the next stop I told him I was sorry for having an "attitude" I figured I wasn't responsible for his bad attitude but I was mine. In San Antonio they switched. I'm thinking, good. Hell, I was on the bus with Rambo this time. He started lecturing peopl e about who he puts on the side of the road. I kept my mouth shut this time:')

Now how the he// do you loose luggage on a BUS!? They must be extremely talented people. I wish I'd been there to hear you giving that bus driver the 3rd degree but I'm glad you got over it. I'd've hated for that 2nd driver to leave you on the side of the road with your thumb in the breeze.

Good grief. There was no reason for that driver to be that way. Was it the cowboy? He was inside whining about someone he brought in on the bus from Dallas.

I just read through your post about the bus ride. You should report that SOB for talking to you like that. You sure as heck didn't owe that creep an apology.
