The FreeRepublic Saddle Club - Who's Who *pics*

This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share. In the previous threads we have had a great time talking through lessons, training, horse lamenesses, illnesses and pregnancies... and always sharing pictures and stories.

I always have a link to this thread on my profile page, so if you have something to say and can't find the thread in latest posts… look for it there and wake the thread up!

I also have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will now be pinging everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list. As FreeRepublic is a political site, our politics and other issues will probably blend in…. There are many issues for horsemen that touch politics… land use, animal rights/abuse cases that make the news…. Legislation that might affect horse owners.

So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends. There are lots of ways of doing things and we all have our quirks, tricks and specialties that are neat to learn about.

I print them off from on line, but I like doing them with a pencil:) I've found it helps me if I circle the numbers that I know for sure are where they are suppose to be, that way when I erase I don't erase those.

Good Morning.

Somebody, dern kids I presume, had a field day Sunday night breaking into people's vehicles. My daughter's car and the SIL's two trucks were rummaged though. They only took as loose change, as far as we could see. Other vehicles around a large area had cell phones taken. Lap tops and larger items were left. So, you know it was just kids out for some fun times. No school on Monday, time on their hands. Creeps.

Good morning.
You'd think the kids would appreciate the extra day off, and find something interesting and worthwhile to do instead of breaking into cars and stealing property. Where are the parents?

I do the puzzles online, but I don't use the 'how am i doing' button as that is considered cheating! :D
Certainly keeps the brain active!

Mornin' MT.

Sheesh. What a thing to wake up to on a Monday morning. :-/

"Creeps" is a perfect word for them.

Oh - sorry about that family vehicles being rummaged through.. No serious damage from the break-ins I hope!

We're making progress getting Rosie's stuff organized over in the new place! But still more to do.

I use a paper and pencil, but a couple of times when I've really been stuck I've gone and typed the for sure numbers I've placed to be sure I was right, so far I always have been. I'm sort of getting the hang of doing what Beaker's tip was, (writing possibilities in the corners. That sort of confused me at first.

Anyway, it's a perfect thing to occupy your brain when you can't go out side.

I had a visitor to my bird seed last night right out side the patio door. Susie was fasinated:)

Ugh, nasty little creatures. There were two of them, the other took off before I could get a good pictures.

No she's still staying here - but she's getting closer. She's got most everything she needs over there now, and she's started to unpack so it looks homier ;~D

Have to go to the hardware store today and get some things. And she's gonna spend a few hours, probably on job search stuff.

We're suppose to stay above freezing today and tonight, Yeah! Since we didn't get enough to really help the drought problem, I'm ready for it all to go away.

Yeah we'll both be gray

Check out the pictures on my "about" page and you'll see that I kinda like gray varmints myself.

I've always wanted to take that mule trail down the Grand Canyon...

Me too, but it'd be my luck that I'd get a clumsy mule and over the edge I'd go.

Thanks. Yeah, Reba (sounds so funny calling you that)if you will just pick me up one copy and hold them until I see you. I don't need it right now, just some copyright numbers. I'm just trying to get a company to give me a better price for the students.
