No, she has never fallen from this one. She did ride him often, she says, when she first got him and she says he was perfect. Not spooky never bucked, etc. The reason she is afraid of bucking is when she first started looking for a horse the first 2 she tried bucked her off. She says she had never come off a horse before then.
From everything she has told me about this horse, he sounds like a perfect horse. BUT, I think he is getting wise to her too, from what she says. It's hard to say. Since she decided to sell, she didn't even want me to bother lunging him. That was OK by me. Not because I was afraid of him but it was obvious no matter how good this horse would be, she wasn't going to get over her fear, so why bother.

Oh, I gotta share another cute pic of Cav's kitty. It appears that he has a thing for horse programs on TV. I was watching TV the other day and he was contentedly laying on my chest on the couch when Dennis Reis came on and he happens to see one of the students working her horse in the arena and suddenly he's right there on the arm of the couch with his nose pressed to the TV screen and when the horse moves he jumps up and tries to catch it. This wasn't just a one time thing. He sits there like that for the whole show, just intently watching. And he did it again another day with another horse program so it wasn't just good ol' Dennis. It was so funny. Maybe I can get him to watch them during the day and teach me something when I get home...

I'd say there is a possibility that he could have a permenant knot there. But I'd think it would eventually not hurt. We had a horse one time get kicked and he had what the vet said was a bone bruise. It took that thing for ever to not hurt to the touch. But it did eventually.
You've done a good job. It probably wouldn't have healed so neatly without all your TLC:)

That's great.... We have our Gidget who really loves to watch tv... and the kittens have shown a little interest off and on.

LOL....I've never had an animal that paid any attention to the TV. That's really cute.

Bay's got a couple old knots and scars too, that he got who knows how long ago, that no longer hurt or cause any problems.

2006 is going ok so far. *crosses fingers* I hope to get to ride this weekend, but it's supposed to be in the low 30s. Brrr!

Hey there Frog! How ya been?

Here's another one. It seems he's writing a book in his spare time about "How to teach a human to take pictures of a cat at Christmas". As you can see, he seems to be using me as subject material...

He seemed determined to stow away in my cooler as I was getting ready to to riding on Sunday too. Maybe he wants his own horse...

It'd be fine if it wasn't so slushy and wet. I don't have a single pair of dry shoes left. It's so gross out and slippery, and tonight it's bitter cold. But don't take my word for it, because I'm in a whiny kind of mood tonight :-)As soon as I finish cleaning up, I'm curling up with a movie.

Maybe he wants his own horse...
Either that or he's saying: "Forgetting someone?"
To: HairOfTheDog
Here's another interesting one for ya before I gotta go and fix supper. I just recently noticed that little Miss Ellie has a double swirl on her forehead. I've never seen one before. According to that crazy woman Linda Tellington-Jones, it's supposed to mean something but I can't remember what. LOL! Hopefully you can see it in this pic...

Gotta go. Talk to ya tomorrow...

Julia looks great on the horse she is riding. Boy, things are horribly dry there.

Good Morning.
Suppose to get my PC fixed today. I hope I do not lose all the pictures I had loaded on there. Putting off sending them to Snapfish is gonna bite me in the butt. Ty Pennington has a little tips thingy on the radio each morning. He mentioned about saving files to disk, just in case of hard drive crashed. Too bad I didn't think of that before. A year old pc shouldn't do that anyhow. I won't go into all the details about having someone come out. We shall see how it pans out today.
USA HL, Duchess and I are the resident Appaloosa lovers around here. I had a loud black and white Leopard gelding for 17 years. He crossed the Rainbow Bridge 3 years ago at age 23. I still miss him. My passion has been trap shooting, but that has wavered on me lately. It just might be time to get back into riding again.
To: PayNoAttentionManBehindCurtain
Enjoyed your pictures. So nice to see someone is getting out and riding in the warm sunshine.
