I think those antioxidents are supposed to help the immune system but I don't know for sure. I'm just trying anything that sounds remotely helpful on Tuffy. I know they don't have biotin in them, unless specifically stated.
Tuffy would eat oranges. he'll even eat pickles.
That fly mask really worked well for her eyes. It kept the dust and grass away.
A fly mask works on Tuffy for sunburn but the insect that he's allergic to (culicoides or "no see ums") are small enough to get through the mesh. A fly sheet won't work on his body because it's mesh so I use regular solid dress sheets on him.
From the best I could tell it was mostly semi-auto pistols making the most noise. They would empty the magazine, reload, wait a few minutes then empty it again. Real rocket scientists if you ask me......
Did I read in one of your posts that your husband wanted to make gravy for breakfast? When I was in service we had chipped beef on toast, along with fried potatos and a couple of eggs almost every morning. It may not have been much but it stuck to your ribs. I still miss it after all those years ago. : )
That breakfast sounds heavenly.
Oops, make that chipped beef and gravy over a slice of toast. The common name was SOS.....
You can figure out what it was called.
Good grief, I'm sorry. How old is this horse?
They were looking out for us to make sure we had good food to get us through the cold Montana weather. There was more choices than SOS each morning but that is the one I miss most....
For days. It's scary. I practically lived at the barn when mine were sick. Did he test her for strangles?
When mine didn't want to eat I went to crimped oats with syrup and offered a few bites at a time out of my hand. They wouldn't eat unless I held it up to them because it hurt and was probably hard to breath with their head down.
Ok, I hope he learns how but I buy the premixed packages when I want gravy.
couple who rescues "troubled" horses AND adopts troubled kids
All kids into horses, barrel riding, roping etc
Bring Kleenex
I told him about those. He said he would look but I'm going to pick up some and mail them to him this week.
Do you know what Schwans is? I buy the creamed chipped beef and put it on toast. :')
I LOVE Schwan's!! Very rarely do I get something from them that I don't like. I bought a ham one year, it wasn't too great. The best thing is their Key Lime pie. I could sit down and eat a whole one. What's your favorites?
Let's see... I keep a box of breaded shrimp, bagal dogs, link sausage and stuffed potato skins in the freezer. My favorite is the cream cheese turtle pie. I'm craving sos now though, darn it.
I'm so sorry to hear this. Please make sure the kids know that they did all they could. I would second having someone pick it up (even animal control) to make sure it wasn't sick.
