That fly mask really worked well for her eyes. It kept the dust and grass away.

A fly mask works on Tuffy for sunburn but the insect that he's allergic to (culicoides or "no see ums") are small enough to get through the mesh. A fly sheet won't work on his body because it's mesh so I use regular solid dress sheets on him.

My favorite fly mask. This is Miss Accident-Prone and I think I am about to lose her. The lymph node is swollen because of some infection the vet can;t find. Used a scope up her nose, into her eustachian tubes, did head X-rays. We've changed antibiotics three times and still her fever continues to hit 102.8, that's the highest. I can't keep it down. Now using Naxcel,. 20 cc. per day. I hose her down all the time to bring it down to 100 but it won't stay down. She won't eat. Is very thin. I tempt her with everything and anything.I've been up with her for four nights now and am really tired. Anybody know how long a horse can sustain a fever like that?
