Now that you mention that, I remember you saying that before about that pony.
Well, I gotta go to town, back in a bit.
Kristy's trying to find a small buggy/cart type. She's always wanted to train one to pull a buggy. I've been to a show once where little ponies like her were used to pull. That would be a hoot to do.
Becky
My last day is the 29th.
A small person could probably do well in the pony business.
The little lady Tiff sent our pony to very much specialized in ponies... she only weighed about 80 pounds, and she was one of the few pros around that weren't too big for her. She, and her tough kids she put on them. :~D
I emember that story, kind of. Didn't Pony do well for them?
They had her going pretty well by the end of 30 days, yeah, and they could have made more progress if they kept her another month, but really, they came to the conclusion that even after another 60 or 90 days, she still would not be a beginner's pony.... which is what Jesse was then.
It's funny, brave and experienced as he is now... he sortof shuddered when I suggested he should come over and work with her now.
She needs to go to a very brave little pony clubber. But one who doesn't need her to be ready right out of the box. Someone who will put a lot of training miles on her. Trained pony club ponies sell for $10,000 plus. the return on investment on her could be huge in the right hands.
What's up? you still going to Nascar?
Do you saddle her? Is there stuff on the ground that you can do to make it easier for her rider?
I think I might stay home. I have six tests next week that I can not postpone.
Go. Have some fun. You can study on vacation if you have to. All work and no play isn't healthy. There will always be "tests"
This sounds like a lot of fun. Unfortunately I'm committed here for an American heart walk.http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/1511489/posts
Sun is even out this morning, after a week of rain. If I get a chance, after all the chores to do, I will try to get some pictures of fall colors.
Becky, That pony is really cute, kids look like they had a lot of fun.
Brought home the new TB.
Rode her for a short time. She's nice and quiet.
She's in the pasture now and gets along fine with the Arab gelding. But she is still trying to figure things out the the other mares- TB and Shetland pony.
Ah, an extra hour of sleep. :)
Congrats on the new horse, glad she's doing well.
Got pictures? :~D
~yawn~
I still slept in :~D
Congrats.
