Stop! Don't scare Larry like that!

Rhubarb is called the pie plant. You put so much sugar in it the pie is as sweet as you like.

The NEW recipe for mincemeat pie:

1. Buy a jar of Nonesuch Mincemeat filling & dump in pie shell and cover with a top crust and bake.

Tastes like a real spicy apple/raisin pie. I don't believe there is any real meat in it.

The reason mince meat is so spicy and brown is that the dish dates back to poor Englanders who could afford nothing but the absolute worst parts of the cow, and suet, and would spice the hell out of it just to make it remotely palatable.
