Just watched Shepard Smith having and absolute tantrum on Fox News The O'Reilly Factor, complaining that reliefe did not come to the specific spot he was standing.
Petulant, Arogent, Demanding, and bitter. He's totally lost it.
What a whiner.

You have to give Shep a break. He hasn't had any eyeliner for 5 days. He's starting to look like his mug shot on smoking gun.
Both he and Whoraldo are right. The emergency response has been pitiful.

You go stand on that overpass for 5 days without food and water. Then you might better understand Shep's perspective. Didn't know Shep was standing there for 5 days without food or water. He must be some kind of cyborg.

Shep didn't find those people until Wednesday BTW so where do you and others get off saying he had been there for five days. LOL

Perhaps you should go back to not watching TV.Perhaps you should learn how to read.
Nah, why do that when you can spend you're entire life blissfully.

--- if the able body residents of New Orleans started walking west on I-10 it would free up transport for the sick, elderly, and children. It was mentioned on Smiths show that I-10 west is flooded.
The Jefferson bridge is supposedly the only exit for the people downtown, and it is blocked for pedestrians. -- Why? -- Ask the mayor, or FEMA.

Mighty cranky aren't we? And your not even standing in the heat and humidity on a NO overpass. If what you see and those who report it trouble you so, don't watch. That is the beauty of it all...just don't turn it on.

I'm guessing that part of Shep's and Whorealdo's hysteria can be attributed to guilt. After all, they have food and water.

I don't watch. I know what heat feels like and I know what it is to have somebody die in your arms when nobody else will go near the person dying. If you folks need reporters to be your conscience thats fine by me. I don't.

And he keeps saying it's been 6 days. The Levee broke on Tuesday which is when the real problems started. Tuesday to Friday is three days which is still a long time but it ain't SIX.

No, I don't need anybody to be my conscience...but as I am not there, I want to learn what is happening in my country during the biggest disaster of our lifetimes I have to use the resources at hand...the media. They are just reporting...I am deciding my own conclusions.

I agree. Also Shep's home or where he grew up was destroyed. He mentioned that one night. He lived in an area of Mississipi and he still had not heard what had happened. That would make anyone emotional as well. Five days on, I find that hard to believe.

I read a book a day. If you're so not interested in watching the news, why are you so interested in this particular post?

I think flagging down a police officer and demanding that he take a 5 day old baby, her mother and her family to shelter, food and water is really helping. We kind of saw him do that. On camera.
To: msnimje
For Shep it has been 6 days. He's been there since at least last Saturday. I remember one of Fox's studio hosts told Shep "i hope the hurricane misses N.O." and Shep said "You hope?"
To: PennsylvaniaMom
I agree. And people need to get over this '5 days' or whatever. Who cares how many days the reporters have been there. Those people have been without food and water since MONDAY.
