Just curious what everybody else is having to pay for gas now. Prices just shot up to $3.00/gallon for the low grade. Yikes!

Went from 2.60 to 3.35 overnight last night. If that isn't an illegal mark-up I don't know what is. Upstate NY

I paid $2.61(reg) this morning but the Shell on the other side of I-10 had Reg @ $2.76 when it was $2.61 yesterday.
I filled up @ $2.61 cause I know it's gonna spike.

I haven't noticed any lines at all either. Actually, when I saw the hurricane hit on Sunday, I took both the vehicles and topped them off, knowing prices would be jumping. Suprisingly, I was the ONLY person putting gas in both times. That was $.46/gallon ago.

Filled up this morning at 2.99 Regular. Same gas station at lunch time was 3.14. Saw 3.40 early this morning at a Marathon Station. This is in the Detroit suburbs.
