Ouch. On CNN this morning a weatherman flipped out when the news anchor interrupted him while he was giving the forecast. He threw the papers in his hand on the floor and told Carol to let him talk.

Come on. I'm thrilled he went off on her. She' one stupid, self-impressed witch. I hope she's fired and not him. As a woman, I find her so revolting. And she was at her very worst when this moment was most definitely not about HER, HER, HER. What a witch.

Absolutely. This was just as the storm was coming on shore. I thought he was a great weatherman today. I hardly ever watch CNN, but he really was good and informative.

'speak english' whatever... I didn't have a problem with what he's saying. I do have issues with meanspirited, arrogant elites! GRRRRRRRR! Can't you tell? ;-)

Wow, right on air. LOL. They're like 2 little kids having meltdowns. Date didn't go too well last night? LOL. I think both were unprofessional. How did they explain that away, or did they just pretend it didn't happen?
See #12. Not only were they both a bit unprofessional, but I have to agree with Kingu, the cute chatter works, except in a serious weather emergency. She needed to drop it the first time he ignored her and wait for him to finish.

Not sure where The Flipster is these days ... seem to recall that he might have been put out to pasture at a local news station, or retired completely.

CNN is probably putting together an investigative report on this as we speak. . .

I now have the urge to break out my DVD of Ground Hog Day. Ahhh, one of my all time favorite movies. According to the producers the annoying weatherman/star of he film had to relive the same day for a couple hundred years before his life really changed, and he became a better person. Not necessarily the best film made but there's something about it that I have to suggest it as one of my must see films.

I remember Barry Burbank who has been a weather guy in Boston for years was on channel 13 in Maine. One night he brought a 5 gallon bucket of snowballs into the studio and started lobbing them at the anchors. It was pretty damned hysterical.
